About the SOS Shelter

Broome County’s sole domestic violence emergency shelter, serving victims of domestic violence since 1979.

The shelter used to house clients is a seven bedroom, seven bath facility.  Every attempt is made to make the shelter as comfortable and home-like as possible.  The shelter staff is available twenty-four hours per day, three hundred sixty-five days a year to assist in providing a secure and comfortable environment.
